Buy American Blog

Tuesday morning's papers were filled with news of not one, but two, espionage cases, where Americans were selling secrets to Chinese spies looking for military and business information. We seem to have lulled ourselves into a false sense of security. China does not share our best interests. They are not our ally. We are putting ourselves at risk by giving them such a huge share of our manufacturing. Will we wake up before it's too late?

Economic Stimulus, Buy American Style

So the president and Congress are ready to start cutting checks to spur our economy back to life. There's only one way this has a chance to work. We need to use the money to buy American-made products. Make the money work for our economy by keeping it in our economy. If all people do is rush out to buy more made in China imports, the outsourcing CEOs and their favorite Chinese contractors will reap the benefits while the economic stimulus fizzles out.

If you need some ideas for some quality American-made products to spend your stimulus check on, search our database of more than 450 companies (and counting).

Why Made in USA?

We asked some executives at companies doing their business in America why Made in USA matters to them.

I enjoy working with USA companies. I trust their integrity. I hear horror stories about overseas companies doing knock offs of products they have made for the very same company they produced the product for. More trusting relationships keep me going with USA companies.
